COCHIN-KUMARAKOM-HOUSE BOAT-KOVALAM(7 DAYS)

Day 1 Arrive in Cochin

Arrive at Cochin airport. Transfer to hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Cochin

On day 2 we will move around in Cochin to see the old Cochin, jewish synagogue, St:Francis church and the medieval Portuguese settlements. The narrow stretches of unending stone pathways of this historic city of Cochin and the cantilevered fishing nets is a treat for the eyes.

Day 3 Kumarakom

On day 3 we will proceed to Kumarakom back waters. Here we will stay in a resort. To sit back and relax, enjoying the small waves in the backwaters is the real activity here. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 Walk around Kumarakom

We will walk around to have a closer look at the village community of this small place. Interact with the locals stay back here for the day.

Day 5 To Alleppey

A house boat will pick you up from your resort. House boats are modified rice boats of Kuttanad. These boats will be having well maintained living room and bed room. The authentic Kerala food will be served for you in this boat. The cruise along the backwaters will be an unmatched experience. Overnight stay the hotel.

Day 6 Alleppey to Kovalam

We will check out at Alleppey and proceed to Kovalam beach. Overnight stay at the resort in Kovalam.

Day 7 Trivandrum

We will make a visit to Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. Here we can see the old British buildings and the famous Chalai bazar. Let us spend some time negotiating with the traders of Chalai bazaar. Back to Kovalam in the evening and enjoy the sunset at the beach. Overnight stay.

Day 8 Departure

Transfer to the airport for departure.
