Mukta-shukti

Mukta-shukti is a general tonic (balya), nutrient (rasa-balya), and strengthens bones (asthibalya).

Sulphur (Gandhak)

Sulphur (Gandhak) is vital for hair and skin health. It is largely present in non-veg foods like meat, fish, and egg. In addition, it is present in milk, legumes, garlic, onion, turnip, cabbage, seaweed, and some nuts. People eating less of these foods are quite likely to develop Sulphur deficiency resulting in hair loss and reduced skin glow. This calls for the need to supplement Sulphur in the form of medicines. Gandhak helps regeneration of tissues (rasayana) and helps restore natural hair color (kesha-ranjana).

Emblica officinalis

Amalaki is anti-oxidant (rasayani), alleviates skin disorders (kushtha-nashaka), modulates cognitive functions (medhya), is anti-aging (ayushya), and anti-inflammatory (shothahara). It strengthens hair, promotes hair growth, and enriches pigmentation of the hair thus preventing hair greying.

Zinc

Like many other tissues and organs zinc (Yashad) is vital for the health and well-being of the hair and skin. Yashad helps regeneration of tissues (dhatu-kshaya-hara) and modulates immunity (rasapinda-vikriti-nashaka).

Brahmi- Bacopa monnieri

Though Brahmi is largely used in the form of Hair Oil, it promotes hair health remarkably when taken orally. Brahmi alleviates skin disorders (kushtha-jit), improves blood supply to skin (asra-jit), is anti-oxidant (rasayani), modulates cognitive functions (medhya), is anti-aging (ayushya), and anti-inflammatory (shothahari).

Eclipta alba- Bhringaraj

Bhringaraj is a well known remedy for the treatment of hair and skin diseases. Most of the people know that Bhringaraj is an excellent medicine against hair problems when used as Bhringaraj oil. Yet, the fact is, Bhringaraj is far more effective when taken internally by mouth as tablets. Not only it tones up the hair follicles and helps restore natural hair color, but it improves skin health, too.

Glycyrrhiza glabra

Yashtimadhu revitalizes hair follicles (keshya), helps restore natural hair color (varnakrit), is anti-inflammatory (shotha-apaha), and anti-toxic / anti-allergic (vishapaha). It protects skin and hair against oxidative processes and promotes hair growth.
