ACTION

Hemostatic: Styplon Vet is a styptic that controls bleeding by converting prothrombin (a blood-clotting protein) to thrombin (protein which plays a central role in provoking the assembly of other proteins to form the blood clot). Styplon Vet stimulates hemopoietic organs, which increase the production of platelets, stabilize capillary endothelium (cells that line the interior surface of blood vessels) and maintain vascular integrity.

INDICATIONS

• Epistaxis, hemogalactia and hematuria.
• Uterine bleeding and traumatic bleeding.
• Pre- and post-operative conditions to minimize bleeding.
• As an adjuvant in the therapy of babesiosis and trypanosomiasis.

Species Treatment
Cows, Buffaloes, Camels & Horses 1-2 boli twice daily
Calves & Foals 1 bolus twice daily
Sheep & Goats
 ½ bolus twice daily
