Psora capsule contains five important herbs, each one being used successfully for various skin disorders for centuries. It has four important actions viz antiallergic, antibacterial, antifungal and blood purifier.Psora capsule can be prescribed to those, where corticosteroid therapy is contraindicated. It is free from side effects.
Composition: Each 300 mg of Psora capsule contains
Panchatikta ghrit gulgullu- 100mg. It is a powerful antibacterial and antifungal drug with specific action on mycobacterium leprae.
Neem oil (Melia azhardirachta): 100 mg. This is indicated in leprosy, boils, and carbuncles, bacterial and fungal infections. It checks itching and heals ulcers.
Chalmogra oil (Hydnocarpus laurifolia)-60mg. It contains chalmogric acid and hydnocarpic acid and has specific toxicity for mycobacterium leprae. In vitro it is proved 10 times more potent than phenol. In psoriasis it is the drug of choice.
Narayan oil – 20mg. It has anti-inflammatory action, useful in pruritis, dermatitis, dried skin disorders, leprosy, psoriasis, paralysis and arthritis.
Bavchi oil (Psoralia cordifolia) – 20mg. A very well trusted and time tested drug used successfully in stubborn skin disorders. It improves the renal functions and excretes toxins through urine.
Indications
Psoriasis, dry and wet eczema, dermatitis of various origin and leprosy.
Dosage
Three capsules per day for adults. Children- half dosage of adults. Higher dosage is required in severe and chronic conditions.
Contraindications
No absolute contraindication.
